4. dan - mednarodno predavanje in prvi delovni dan
Sedaj vemo kako se počuti profesor v predavalnici. Pogledi z
Roke so
se pričele dvigovati in besede so bile zastavljene. Nekatere so bile bolj resno

We now know how a professor feels like in the classroom. Surrounded by faces that are demanding new information from you and at the same time waiting for a chance, to use something you said in funny context. Yes, that pretty much sums up our morning. We got ourselves in the van and off we were to school yet again. The classroom, that we were given, filled up pretty fast with eager listeners. The crowd was bigger than we initially expected. The microphone was set and the classroom was ready for Domen, our novice lecturer.
At first, he got stuck but that all changed when laughter spread arround the room, courtesy of a few mistakes. Hands were being raised and questions asked. Some were more of a serious nature and the rest of them in thin spirit. For the end of the lecture, the audience swapped with student's, that were more interested in the computer area. What followed was a short presentation and demonstration of a freeware 3D modeling program.
After that, we joined our spanish colleagues that are learning how to work with routers and networks. We had our first workday in the afternoon, evejn if only for 4 hours. Each one of us went to our location andmet up with our temporary spanish employer's. The lack of knowledge of the english language, from their side, limited our ability to communicate with them. Gestures, words,.... it all helped. We generally had a good time and we're looking forward to meeting our new coworkers.
Quote of the day:
President of Jaen initiating a handshake with us? It's sometfhing. Viva la Partido Popular!
P.S.: Did you know that Pedro is spanish for Peter :-) ?
